Du Nord owners and founders, Chris and Shanelle Montana, invite you to Southside Social, a party for the community that has supported and sustained Du Nord Social Spirits during its first 9 years. The party will begin at the Du Nord distillery, with a Closing Ceremony for the original cocktail room. The cocktail room was the first of its kind in Minneapolis, and it was a vibrant community gathering place. It closed during the 2020 pandemic, and it will remain closed as Du Nord Social Spirits’ growth has made it ineligible to operate a cocktail room on-site in Minnesota.

While bittersweet, we are excited about what’s next for Du Nord. To celebrate, a brass band, the Brass Messengers, will lead a short street parade to the Hook & Ladder Theater (pro tip - park there beforehand), where there will be food, music by DJ Tricky Miki, fun, and of course, cocktails. We will also be raising funds for the Du Nord Foundation, with games and a silent auction.

The event is free, but registration is required.
