In honor of Opal Lee, the 95 year old activist who worked tirelessly to make Juneteenth a federal holiday.
Serving as a symbol of the perseverance and resilience of enslaved people, it is celebrated on June 19th to honor, celebrate, and uplift the African-American community.
RECIPE
1 ½ oz Prominence Gin
2 oz Fresh blood orange juice
½ oz Fresh lemon juice
½ oz Simple syrup
1 Egg white
Garnish with blood orange slice or sage leaf.
Combine above ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish.
