The Ava DuVernay
This refreshing batch cocktail is inspired by Ava DuVernay, the award-winning filmmaker, writer, and producer. Well-known for her films, DuVernay also founded ARRAY, “a multi-platform arts and social impact collective dedicated to narrative change.” ARRAY has a few subsidiaries, all mission-driven with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. With this work DuVernay is removing barriers for others. We celebrate her work with this batch cocktail recipe, meant to be shared with others.
RECIPE
2 cups Prominence Gin
½ cup Elderflower Liqueur
½ cup Fresh Lemon Juice
¼ cup Fresh Lime Juice
½ cup Simple Syrup
½ cup Club Soda
Cucumber, Lime & Lemon Wheels
Basil or Mint Leaf for garnish
Combine first 6 ingredients into a large pitcher of ice and stir.
Add cucumber, lime & lemon.
Stir once more, garnish and serve.
